Tom Cruise: 25 years on- and not a day older

A quarter of a century on from his career-making turn in the film Top Gun, Tom Cruise, pushing 50, has barely aged. 

Appearing on Tuesday night at the Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol premiere in London, he was every bit the chisel-jawed  hunk who made the girls swoon in  his fighter pilot’s uniform back in 1986. 

His secret? Strict diet, rigorous exercise . . . or is all that Scientology helping to halt the passage of time?
